In Language class we will be trying out new ways of explaining things. We will be using a variety of different types of words in order to do so. In fact, we will try to use som vivid language and innovative expressions to add interest. As usual, I found some really neat websites that will help you out and even let you have fun while doing school work.
School House Rock - Your mom and dad may remember the Schoolhouse Rock from Saturday morning cartoons. There are a bunch of catchy tunes on the website that may help you remember some of the things we've been learning. Click the following link http://www.school-house-rock.com/GrammarRock.html and be sure to check out "Unpack Your Adjectives(How Adjectives Modify Nouns)" and "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly, Get Your Adverbs Here(Adverbs Answer these Questions: How? Where? When? Condition? Reason?)"
One of my favourite websites as you may have noticed is FunBrain. Well I have found a game there this time that will help out that language mark. The game is a MadLib. You get to make a silly story by choosing words to fill in blanks. At the end, you can read the silliness. Check it out.
